Notes of black tea, citrus & apple
Description:
We're delighted to welcome Coko as our first African coffee, sourced by popular demand!
Grown by the women of the Twongerekawa Coko Cooperative (appropriately meaning "supporting each other") high in Rwanda’s northern province, this coffee delivers a refreshingly clean cup that sparkles with zesty citrus, delicate black tea, and a crisp apple finish.

Why we love it:
✔ Fully traceable & women-grown
✔ Organically grown & Fair Trade
✔ Naturally processed for bright complexity
The Cooperative has grown from eleven founding members in 2009 to over 300, and moved from strength to strength. They have invested their profits into developing sustainable processing, and have avhieved Organic and Fair Trade certification.
At 1600-2200m altitude, these beans develop beautifully slowly, with every lot hand-sorted for quality. This is the kind of coffee you’ll remember – juicy, vibrant, and deeply satisfying.
